Full job description

The candidate chosen is responsible for:

• Creating construction work schedules
• Recommending suitable building and construction material
• Managing construction work schedules
• Evaluating suitable building and construction material
• Creating construction specifications
• Planning major civil projects
• Preparing contract documents
• Evaluating and reviewing tenders for construction project
• Supervising other engineers as well as technicians and technologists
• Approving designs, calculations, and cost estimates
• Reviewing designs, calculations, and cost estimates

The candidate chosen is required to:

• Must be punctual to work
• Must have excellent oral and communication skills
• Should be in a good healthy state before performing any task
• Should have a positive attitude
• Must have a good interpersonal and judgemental skill
• Should be eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer by a territorial association

Experience required

• The candidate chosen requires a minimum Bachelor’s degree
• 3-5 years of experience working in a related role
