McGill University Canada is known to be one of Canada’s best intuitions of higher learning and also amongst the global leading universities. It’s also known for public research and located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

McGill University Canada was established in 1821 by royal charter and it’s the oldest university in Montreal. However, the motto of this institution goes by “By work, we believe all things increase and grow” and “On legend: I confide in the Lord”.

The university is a highly populated university with up to 40,000 students, offering more than 300 programs and comprising of 11 faculties and 11 professional schools. It’s also ranked as the best institution in Canada amongst other medical-doctor universities.

Scholarships

McGill University Canada features variety of scholarship programs and most especially merit-based entrance scholarships to first time university students that are entering a full-time undergraduate degree program. However, the merit-based entrance scholarships comprises of one-year scholarship which is valued for $3000 (non-renewable) and major scholarship which is valued in between $3,000 – $12,000 (renewable annually).

Admission Requirements, Process and Instructions

Firstly, if you’re an international student, I advise you read about to process on how to obtain Canadian student visa. Without the study visa, you won’t be able to migrate to Canada for study purpose.

Admission Process

  1. Firstly, visit their official website via https://www.mcgill.ca/ and complete application sections.
  2. Next, refer admission to the particular program you going for.
  3. Pay a non-refundable fee of $114 CAD which is the application fee.
  4. Lastly, submit application form online.
