Minuteman Press Vancouver requires a printing supervisor to perform various tasks listed in the job description. Full job description

The candidate chosen would be responsible for:

• Reviewing and approval of all job proofs
• Reviewing and approval of all job samples
• Providing professional advice to workers
• Supervising printing machine, camera, and press operators
• Ensuring that safety precautions are correctly followed
• Ensuring that the environment is accident-free
• Monitoring photographic and film processors
• Supervising a team of 15-20 persons
• Assisting with technical advice
• Make sure that supplies are taken care of
• Make sure that workers adhere strictly to health regulations

• Must have a good sense of reasoning
• Should be able to pay attention to details
• Must have the ability to work under pressure
• Must possess the ability to be positive

• Should have good clarity of judgment

Experience required

• The candidate chosen is expected to have a minimum of  a college degree or CEGEP
• 1-2 years experience in a related field

Salary

• The chosen candidate would earn $25.95 per hour while working for 35hrs per week
